Joint Campus Interview

A joint Campus Recruitment Drive of “ Persistent Systems Ltd.” , Pune, for 2009 batch, was organized at our institution on 10^th May 2008. Total 83 students from eight different participating colleges were short listed for the final interview. The final interviews are scheduled on 28^th & 29^th June 2008. Out of 83, 14 students are from our college.

In-plant Training for B.E. (Production)

1) GODREJ & BOYCE Mfg Co Ltd Vikhroli, Mumbai Conducted written test & Interview and selected 10 students for In-plant Training .

2) SIEMENS Ltd. Thane has selected 08 students for In-plant Training.

3) L & T Ltd. Thane has selected 02 students for In-plant Training.

4) Crompton Greaves Ltd has selected 02 students for In-plant Training.

Training Programmes conducted at K.G.C.E.

1) A 72 Hrs. Campus Recruitment Training Programme was organized in association with “I.B.M. Mumbai”, in March 2008, at our institute. 51 students participated and were trained for Aptitude Test, Group discussion & Personal Interview.

2) One Day Workshop on “ Career guidance & Preparing for Campus Interview” was conducted by “ T.I.M.E. Dombivali”, in Sept. 2007.

3) A Seminar by the faculty of “I.M.S. Mumbai” was arranged on the topic “ Career Opportunities for Engineers”, in March 2008.

2. A one day industrial visit to “Assab Sripad Steel Ltd, Panvel” was arranged on 4^th October 2008. The industrial visit was arranged for the students of S.E. Production, so as to enrich the knowledge the knowledge of various heat treatment processes like hardening, nitriding, carburizing, cyaniding, calorizing, chromizing, etc.
