Dream Comes True…

 Instrumentation Engineering Department having the status of excellence in University of Mumbai. The ISA- KGCE Student Section adds more stars in that 04th Oct, 2011 is the day that would enter into the history of Konkan Gyanpeeth / Instrumentation Engg. department as the golden day that made the department complete with inaugurating the India’s largest ISA-Student Section “ISA-KGCE Student Section(formative)” that bonds the education and industry together resulting in overall institutional growth.   Through the commendable efforts of prof. V.J.Pilewan (Dean Academic), Prof. P.K.Nakade, H.O.D of Instrumentation department(Convener), Prof. R.B.Singh (Counselor), Prof. P.R.Bhosale(Faculty advisor) and all the students, the dream of Instrumentation Engineering comes true.

 The formal inaugural function was held on 4th oct,2011 at 11.00 am at Seminar Hall. Mr. V.P.Raman, chief guest and President ISA- International Maharashtra Section, Mrs. Anupama Wangdi, Vice Chairman, Konkan Gyanpeeth, Mr. Zulkarnein Dabhiya, Trustee Member, Konkan Gyanpeeth, Mr. Vijay Mande, Sr. Journalist, Lokmat who had recently felicitated by Chief minister of Maharashtra, Dr. M.B.Lele, Principal, KGCE, Prof. Narkhede sir,(Vice Principal), Prof. V.J.Pilewan(Dean Academic), Dr. K.N.Patil, Dean R&D, Prof. O.N.Barure, secretary, ISA- Maharashtra section, Mr. Vithal Magar, student Liasion, ISA- Maharashtra section, presided over the function. Mr. V.P.Raman invoked blessing of the almighty by enlighting the lamp with the other degonetories.

  Dr. M.B.Lele, principal, KGCE has delivered his welcome speech and said that  it is the proud moment of Instrumentation Engg. Department as well as for the college. Mrs. Anupama Wangdi, Vice chairman, Konkan Gyanpeeth focus some points which was very applicable and innovative for the institute and the students of Engineering department.  The inaugural speech is delivered by Mr. V.P.Raman, President ISA- International Maharashtra Section on future of Instrumentation Engineering which was very informative and helpful for choosing right carrier in the field of automation.

  Now, it was the turn of Mr. Prasad Mekde, President, ISA-KGCE, Maharashtra section who very much excited and warm that day. In his Presidential speech he remembered all the steps and stones he turned in the beginning of ISA-KGCE Student Section.       

          A melodious and pleasant power point presentation was prepared by Mr. Ninad Gaikwad and Devashree Thakare students of 3rd year Instrumentation.  The HOD’s of all the department was felicitated in this occasion. The ISA- KGCE, Student Section will be always grateful to Prof. O.N.Barure, secretary, ISA-International Maharashtra Section for his valuable guidance and support.  The program was concluded with vote of thanks and national anthem. The event was made successful by intense efforts of management, Instrumentation Engineering Department and all the ISA- student members.   After the inaugural function Prof. D.S.Sawant, Exhibit Chair, ISA- Maharashtra Section given informative presentation on “Using LATEX to Prepare a Document” which was very much useful for writing technical papers and project reports.
